What is Wegovy?

Wegovy is the brand name for semaglutide, a weight loss medication from the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. It contains exactly the same medication as Ozempic. However, while Ozempic is licensed for managing diabetes, Wegovy is licensed for weight loss.
