What do I do with the pen after it’s finished?

Each pen has 4 doses in it and therefore lasts for 4 weeks. Once you’ve used the 4 doses, the pen is empty and must be disposed of. You should NOT dispose of the pen in a sharps bin. Instead, you can either take it to your local pharmacy who will dispose of it for you, or you can use the free PenCycle box that you can request when you place your order. This can then be sent back for free to the manufacturer who will recycle the pen. This saves it ending up in landfill. The only elements that can be disposed of as part of household waste are the pen cap and the empty carton.
