I’m going somewhere warm, do I need a cool pack?

Not always. It depends on whether your pen is opened or unopened.

If your pen is opened (you’ve started using it): a cool pack is optional. The pen can be kept at room temperature (up to 30°C), so most people are fine as long as it’s kept out of direct sunlight and away from heat (and ideally in its box).

If your pen is unopened (not started yet): a cool pack is recommended while travelling so it stays cold, and then you should refrigerate it (2–8°C) as soon as you arrive.

If you’d like an easy option, you can reuse the Slimmr cold-chain packaging (the insulation and ice packs) for travel, or use a small cool bag with an ice pack.
