Who shouldn't use Mounjaro?

Those allergic to tirzepatide or any other ingredients in Mounjaro; those who are pregnant, might be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant; if you are a woman of childbearing age, it is recommended that you use a contraceptive to reduce the risk of an unintended pregnancy; Use of Mounjaro should be discontinued at least 2 months prior to attempting to become pregnant; if you become pregnant whilst taking Mounjaro, you should stop taking Mounjaro immediately and let your GP know; those who are breastfeeding; children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Mounjaro is not recommended in sexually active women of childbearing potential not using contraception. It is advised to switch to a non-oral contraceptive method, or add a barrier method of contraception as Mounjaro can affect the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
