There are a number of reasons why you may experience headaches, although we tend to find that the biggeet cause is dehydration. Weight loss medicaiton can make people feel less thirsty and it’s therefore easy to forget to drink plenty while you’re on it. Reduced food intake or low blood sugar, and changes in sleep patterns, can also be a factor.
If you’re experiencing headaches, then you can try the following:
Increase your water intake
Aim to drink over 2.5 litres of water per day.
Eat adequately
Make sure you're eating enough to meet your daily energy needs.
Consider having smaller meals more frequently.
Pain relief
Take pain relief when needed.
Start with paracetamol, as aspirin or ibuprofen can be harsh on the stomach.
